All are invited to join us in Solhaven for an OOC Meeting next Friday, 12/15 at 9 pm Eastern. We will be discussing and going over events and projects from this past year, along with talking about what is to come for next year. Afterwards a Q&A session will follow. For anyone who is not able to make it, but does have some questions they wished to see asked, please feel free to have a friend bring them on your behalf, or you can shoot an email this way and I’ll be sure to address it at the meeting. Hope to see you all there!

A hearty thank you to everyone who came out last night to the meeting. I hope everyone had a good time, and found the discussion as beneficial as I did. Also my apologies to my disappearing towards the end of the Q&A. Power went out briefly in my area, so I was disconnected for a short time.

For those who were not able to make it, here is a brief recap of what we discussed:

Upcoming Things:

Solhaven Citizens Tent – A sneak peak of a citizens only tent was given last night.

Something in Solhaven – This Sunday at 9 pm there will be a Citizens Only Raffle in the new tent. Courtesy of the Mercantyler’s Guild, Duvernith will be raffling off a keg of Vornavian Apple beer that will never run out.

Temple Expansion – The Temple of Cholen will be expended to a full fledged temple. Currently the temple exists as the amphitheater adjacent to the Bard Guild. While this is appropriate for the Lord Bard, this expansion will add a complete temple on the ground, which will be open to everyone.

New Storyline – A new storyline will be starting in the near future.

Q&A

The storyline was asked about and a vague teaser was offered.

There was a question about ship navigation and how it should be clear.

A question about gardens, and an answer about how statues make perfect things to have in them.

Shop inventory was asked about, and was answered with that none are currently slated for that, but that down the road it may happen, potentially in the form of a player contest.

Temple of Gosaena – There was a question about a holy spot in the temple being in a silenced room. At the time I said I would investigate. Today I have looked into it, and while there is one room that is holy and silenced, the room directly before that (with an altar) is holy and not silenced.

Sanctum/Confluence – there was a brief discussion about the two capped hunting ground options for Solhaven.

I believe that covered most of the Q&A. If I missed anything, please feel free to add it on. And once again thank you all again for coming out. I hope you have enjoyed 2017 so far, and will enjoy what is to come in 2018.

You missed the most important request (which admittedly was discussed mostly while your power was presumably out):

Have the shan and/or bandits take over the Outlands Manor so it isn’t just a bunch of doggos and birdlizards. More specfiically, shan bandits.

Oh man, i must have zoned otu on that. I was totally going to beg/ask/bribe my way into somehow buying part of or all of the manor to renovate it.

As much as I like shan, I feel like they are already over-represented in their own area. I’d rather see something like the Jants that were there when it opened from 55-90 (think they were about 40-70). Call them something else that makes more sense, give them some maneuvers, add some rogues and archers to the mix. Make it a spellburst area or add environmental hazards (roa’ters?) besides the antimagic rooms to get it on par with like-level hunting grounds. Or, have vesperti take over the manor. They are freaky enough and about like-level with the dobrems.

Solhaven is a pretty vast town. Parts of South Haven could be converted into hunting grounds. If not a takeover, at least real bandits spawning in the Crooked Way.

I go where the hunting grounds are… so give me an excuse to be based out of Solhaven between level 60-100. 🙂 Preferably, something undead with bones. But I’ll take anything at this point. (I genuinely miss being in Solhaven when I used to hunt Bonespear).

Cerridween,

The Sanctum of Scales is “Solhaven” hunting ground, even though it’s not really in Solhaven per se. But once you go in and gt a bone periapt, you can create portals from Solhaven to there without having to ride in the wagons.

Undead creatures in there:

Shambling Lurk (Level 97 base)
Patchwork flesh monstrosity (level 97 base)
Pale scaled shaper (level 102 base)

There are also three living creatures there, but it’s all good. Capped undead has reached Solhaven indeed.

She’s at that suck point too… she’s too young to go in the Rift, but Bonespear isn’t really helping on the favor if that makes sense. I remember that being my problem when I was in Voln and her level. The gap comes back to haunt! Maybe this can be looked at again or make something in Bonespear a higher level? I dunno.. shrug Eventually my secret wizard is going to reach that point too so I’m kind of hopeful this can be looked at… 🙂
