Duskruin Dig will be returning to Bloodriven Village beginning February 16th at 9:00 PM. The Sewers beneath the village will also be open for adventurers to explore, and the Village Shops will be open for business so that you can see the exciting wares offered by the many shop owners.

Two new legendary bloodrunes will be added to the mix — I won’t spoil anything now, but I’ll tell you that these will go all Steve Miller on you.

New gem descriptions (as well as the previous run’s gems) will be available in the Dig feeders.

Some shops will see updates, and the High End Script Shop (HESS) will also be open. Details on the contents of HESS will be forthcoming. In addition, some shops may not be open for this run of Duskruin Dig, but more information will be given as we get closer to the event.

The unique and jackpot feeders are chocked full of new items for you to discover (no teasers at this time). Items found in the feeders cannot be exchanged for other items.

For Clarification, please – because I’m writing Thursday’s new headline right now and don’t want to read into this:

> The Sewers beneath the village will also be open for adventurers to explore

Does this mean we’re going to be able to DIG for Duskruin Dig stuff … and also search the sewers for the usual Duskruin Sewer run stuff?

Yay for gems! For the previewing record, are any blazestars? Because I could still use some additional fancy ones of those.

Yay! Now the only question is if anyone has gotten on the gnome-phone to tell Vyrshkana about new gems.

The question is, are they going to be jarrable?

Were the ones from the Dig ever jarrable? I’ll have to test.

I thought all the gems got switched to jarrable and non-jarrable (legacy) ones from EG were phased out…

So “jarrable” gems have to be gems in our gem system. We created gems for Ebon Gate, which largely replaced the custom ones we use to build. This is why they worked in a gem jar. But they aren’t so much legacy gems. Any time a gem is altered, it will not go into the gem jars. This is because the gem jar is stacking gems as data that corresponds to a number in the gem system. The gem jars just create a gem from scratch but apply specific data like value, however, the description can’t be stored. This is why they don’t work.

Speculation:

– A rune that takes your money and runs
– A rune that keeps on rocking you
– A run drives you mad, making you crazy.

Is it even worth it for third and second shift workers to do Dig and Sewers this run? Last Ebon Gate the Treasure hopper and rewards were reduced to basically 0 from 10pm pst until 6am pst? Will this DR be the same?

My guess is no. I would wait for an oficial response but typically you should never do events during those hours because you cant win anything

They stated that it didn’t change at any point. It did seem that third shift was awful bad though, however if it’s based
on amount of people and digs then there were less at that point of course.

And the post above points out the costs of pickaxes.

<They can be sold for a lot of bloodscrip though, but I didn’t see many being sold.>

Has anyone tried this? How much was the pendant in bloodscrip? I assumed it was low like the shards.

Also, did anyone ever try a quote from a segment (yea crazy to sell, yet)?

I never got a pendant in the areana. SO never tried. I am curious as well.

There are no happy hours and the feeders never run dry. We build hundreds and hundreds of items. Tweaks are occasionally made (usually quality of life), but there are no blocks of time that change anything with the event.

Is it true though, that more things go out when more people are digging, like at night there are less people so less probability of jackpots?

Not totally sure how the system works

>>Is it true though, that more things go out when more people are digging, like at night there are less people so less probability of jackpots?

Let me use a Warden reference. The more people playing, the more the wheel of whatever is spun. If 1 person is playing alone, that person spins the wheel but only a single prize goes out If two people are playing, both spin the wheel, causing two prizes to go out each time. The more people playing, the more prizes are going out, which mean the chances of seeing a bigger variety of wins is higher.

This is just simple statistics though, there is no code that changes with the density of players. This would be the case anywhere in life.

>>Re: Enchanting Potions

Enchanting potions were set to scale at 20% last time. We took the average cost when we set them. We can talk about making them 20k and scale again, but it won’t be both, unfortunately.
