Good morning!

I had a question regarding a ClimateWear cloak that inspects as fully unlocked but lacks the Tier 3 verbs (not just the feature-concealing hood related verbs). Was that by design? If so, at least to me, fully unlocked seems like a misnomer.

Here is the ANALYZE:

You analyze your charcoal velvet cloak and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.
The creator has also provided the following information:
The creator has also provided the following information:
The charcoal velvet cloak is a garment that changes messaging depending on the climate you’re in, or whether it is raining/snowing outside. This item can be altered, it just needs to remain the basic essence of what the item is (no changing a cloak into a dress, but a cloak into a coat is fine).
The cloak is fully unlocked, but does not have the feature concealer ability. It has 12 verbs.
This is currently set to be a cloak of some sort.
The cloak doesn’t have a hood or cowl, but could have one added.
The cloak currently has the following for custom fastenings: a wrought silver sephwir leaf.
The cloak currently has default pockets, but it could have custom ones added by a skilled merchant. Options are a small pocket, a large pocket, small scabbards, weapon loops, large pouches, and small pouches.
You can tell that the cloak is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

Tier 3 verbs (the ones that it is missing, that don’t have anything to do with a hood):

POSE You place your hands on your midnight velvet cloak and strike an adventurous pose. XXX places her hands on her midnight velvet cloak and strikes an adventurous pose.
SPIN You spin around and cause your midnight velvet cloak to billow outward, momentarily glancing about your surroundings. XXX spins around and causes her midnight velvet cloak to billow outward, momentarily glancing about her surroundings.
RUB You push your midnight velvet cloak off your shoulders and glance around your surroundings. XXX pushes her midnight velvet cloak off her shoulders and glances around her surroundings.
TOUCH You idly trace the seams of your midnight velvet cloak. XXX idly traces the seams of her midnight velvet cloak.

Thank you very much for looking into this!

Hmm, mine is registered and the same thing.

Analyze says fully unlocked (except for the hood) but it’s missing the 4 T3 verbs.

I want my $2!!!

Just kidding, I know what services I got and more likely it is an old analyze messaging as I believe he expanded the script a few times.

But now I do want a merchant to finish unlocking it! 🙂

Oh, I see. Fully unlocked does not mean it is auction quality. ANALYZE says you have 12 verbs. If you are only missing those four verbs, then that leaves you with 12 verbs. All 16 verbs is auction quality. 12 verbs is as unlocked as it can get.

Got it thanks.

I had thought the auction quality was the feature concealing hood not the whole tier 3 (I think you can have T3 without the feature conceal?)

So you are saying T2 normal max, with T3 auction level, and T3+ (feature conceal) auction level+?

There are the following tiers:
• Off the shelf with wear, remove, open and close (analyze says it “isn’t unlocked”);
• Once unlocked with the above, plus pull, push, and special messaging for getting and putting stuff (analyze says “is unlocked, but not fully unlocked.”);
• Fully unlocked with the above, plus toss, fold, turn, and clean (analyze says “fully unlocked, but does not have the feature concealer ability”); and
• Auction/raffle quality with the above, plus pose, spin, rub, touch, and the feature-concealing ability. The verbs and the feature-concealing ability are linked and you can’t have one or the other, it will always be both. (analyze says “fully unlocked with feature concealer ability”).

The last tier isn’t unlockable (outside whatever Wyrom decides Wyrom wants to do, but not via standard unlocking). The analyze had originally described the highest, feature-concealing tier as auction quality, but that confused people so it was changed to what it is now. Which is apparently continuing to confuse people!

There isn’t exactly a standard way to describe script tiers. Some person might say off the shelf, another might say Tier 0, another might say Tier 1, another might say not unlocked, and they all mean the base tier. Which only gets confusing when you unlock the item and it becomes Tier 1, Tier 2, once unlocked, partially unlocked, etc. And there are more than 1,000 scripts that have analyze information, so it wouldn’t be an easy thing to standardize even if we could all agree on the best way to approach it.

Yeah it’s bad wording on my part. But I can’t unlock the final tier on a regular basis. So it was between saying “fully unlocked” when there is another tier, or saying “not quite fully unlocked” but you could never get it at a merchant event.
