Prepare For The Grand Tourney!

Diriko’s task came as a simple request, “Remove my precious surita from this foreign landscape.” Siethidi loved the lore of old Elanthia and knew that to hide the uprooting of the trees he would need a good reason.
Thus, the Grand Tourney in Rumor Woods was born, with The Battle of The Phoenix and The Serpent being its first tournament. And so, he cast a wide net and invited everyone to join them.
The Grand Tourney
The Battle of the Phoenix and the Serpent is a jousting tournament for the ages. Adventurers from every corner of Elanthia are making their way to Rumor Woods to take part in the festivities—some as spectators and others as participants.
Those who are interested in jousting must first choose which side they will ride for—the Serpent or the Phoenix. They will then don traditional jousting gear, saddle up on their steed of choice, and prepare for battle!
Jousting wins will be tallied toward your faction’s total, and once the event ends, those aligned with the winning side will receive not only bragging rights, but new titles as well!
But fret not, because whether you win or lose your battle, all participants in the Grand Tourney will receive currency + incidental loot just for participating!
Rumor Woods Activities
Jousting not your forte? Not a problem, as Rumor Woods is packed with exciting activities that you’ll love. Introducing…fox hunting!
The fox hunt is a quick chase to find the cunning fox. Adventurers have 90 seconds to track down the fox to be awarded currency and other prizes! Finding other fauna in Rumor Woods will also come with rewards!
Merchants from far and wide will also be in attendance, with dozens of new and exciting items up for sale. What kinds of interesting wares will they be bringing? Perhaps more information will be revealed soon…
The festivities are set to begin on Saturday, June 1 at 12:00pm (ET).
